Default New user help

I am using the PSR-600 and have never manually programmed it. Played with it a bit but have done a master reset. I noted that Radio Reference now has a feature to download to scanner programs so i thought i would give it a shot. I have downloaded the required setup to ARC500 program. I then uploaded to scanner. Once upload is done it restarts and sits there not scanning the trunked stuff as far as i can see. Do I need to press a button to begin the scan function. I have tried various with no good results.

I believe the imports default to scan list 1, make sure the scan list is enabled..also are in the impoerts showing in the software?, if Not, you will install the latest cable drivers from th Uniden website. Also make sure you have the latest version of the software

I don't know how ARC works, but in WIN500 the imports no longer default to a scan list. You will get the TGs and all, but you need to assign the TGs to a scan list. Just to check, press the number 1 key on the scanner's keyboard. If there are any TGs in Scan List 1 you will see it start to scan. Otherwise, you should open your programming software and check. Any TGs not in a Scan List need to be assigned or the scanner ignores them.

If you are using Hampton VA EDACS, unzip and load this ARC500 file. Hampton is in scanlist 8 and should be default startup list.

ARC requires user scanlist settings prior to import.

Thank you very much fmon for the file it worked perfectly I uploaded it and hit scan and scanlist 8 began to scan. I also noted what was missing in my setup compare to yours in that the scanlists preview page had no info where as your has it and in your next post you mention it see.

How do I get the info to that scanlist window if I try again without your file.

In Talkgrouo Objects, double click in first field under Scanlist header which should popup a dialog. Click the scanlist header which should highlight all fields. Select your desired list(s) then click elsewhere to close the scanlist dialog.
