Thumbs up PSR-500 OWNER "TIPpy"

I have had my PSR-500 for 5 mo's now and have noticed it can be a bit tippy. The (feet) if you will only run down the main body of the radio, with nothing on the faceplate or batt cover. I have had my PRO-106 for a month now and it is much more stable than the 500. the (feet) on the 106 also run down the faceplate and the BATT. COVER. went to my local SHACK and ordered a replacement batt cover for a PRO-106 and put it on my 500, much more stable than it was before. A small price to pay to keep my $500 radio off its front and/or back.

SHACK part no. 12469045 @ $3.69 plus $2.50 ship. (USPS)

I find that clipping the 500 over a simple/cheap metal bookend does a nice
job around my house / patio etc..
