PRE-300 Display

I just got my new PRE-300. I checked the paperwork and did not found out the layout
of the display. By looking at it I can make out most of it. But the the upper left is a
triangle what does that mean? any other symbols that might show up that I need to
know about? If you have a page # or link with more info it would also help.

GRE (at there web site)sold it to me pre program for my area for $199.99 But I will
get software and a cable so that I can get a list of what they put where.

Are you sure that you don't mean the triangle on the UPPER RIGHT side of the screen?

If so, this lets you know which way your scanner is scanning you banks.... UP or DOWN.

While your scanner is scanning, press the up or down arrow button on your scanner and you will see it change.

- There is an icon to show low battery.
- There is a 'T' to show when it is receiving trunking control channel data.
- There is a 'S' followed by a graph of signal strength. The S means the squelch is open.
- The triangles on the right indicate scan direction, up or down.
