I ordered one from the $82.50 gadget store via paypal two days ago. Today I got an email cancelling my order. They said their supplier could no longer provide the scanner to them at that price.

My AntOnline order is still active too. I'm still hopeful since they say in their order tracking section:

"TRACKING MAY NOT UPDATE UNTIL DELIVERY."

Response from ANTonline:

"We apologize for the inconvenience but, as per Buy.com policy we sellers are not allowed to initiate contact with the customer.

We apologize for the delay in receiving this notice but, this item sold out before we received your order from the Seller Marketplace and is currently back ordered. This can happen because the Seller Marketplace holds orders for up to two hours before sending to us.

We will keep trying to fill and it may ship before you get back to us, but in case we can't would you like to keep the order open pending the arrival of new stock or cancel?"

Of course I said to keep the order open.

Yep, not bad REAL price. I ordered mine there 02-22-11, and after some back and forth (where is my order?, where is tracking number?) I see they shipped it finally 02-28-11. Should be here 03-03-11.

ambientweather.com has been showing the PSR-410 for $69.42 plus shipping. The sight was a good rating--don't have any first-hand experience though. I was hoping to order one but I have finally come to the conclusion that I really don't need another scanner and I really don't need to spend any more money. Anyway, its been at this price since this thread started and it was still on the web site this morning.

yeah but they don't have them in stock. It's the same with the other remaining low-priced vendors. But thanks for sharing...I now have 2 sites that will notify me when they're back in stock and if the price is still $70 - $80, well I'll decide then what to do. Like you, I don't need to spend any more money on scanner stuff but we all know how that goes...

There's no way I would buy one of these at the regular price, but for 80 bux, it can't be beat!!
If anyone has any luck actually getting one at the low prices, please let us know.

It's a shame these places list a price they can't deliver on

I could understand one company listing the PS-310/410 at such a low price if it was merely a typo, but there's still a lot of places listing it for $75-80 even now. That's what I don't understand. No stock - just empty promises. And then when they do get them in stock they'll simply double the price and tell those who have orders pending "they can't sell at that price".

What a way to market a product and do business

Don't hold your breath on the second wave of these being as reasonable as initial offering. There isTOO much at stake for the big sellers!

I got the same email from them. Oh well, it was worth a shot. I got my hopes up though when others seemed to be getting theirs.

Finally arrived. Sonic Electronix, $159.99 shipped. Took 10 days to be shipped and arrive though, after some prodding.

SEARS Marketplace has the 410 available for $85. Came out to $115 though after tax & shipping. Not gonna bite.

It's not actually sold by Sears, it's sold by another 45,000 product dropshipper called "CusCus"

Received the new PSR-410 today from Ambient Weather for the advertised price of $69.42. Everything looks good. They also have a great system in place to track the progress of your order. The first few days, they would only put a few up for purchase. Now it shows out of stock. Good luck! Just noticed that the USB cable is not included and listed as an optional item from GRE.

Just like ONScene1 I ordered mine from ambient weather. Ordered late on 2/25 (Fri), shipped on 2/28 (Mon) and arrived 3/3 (Thu). Cost was $69 + shipping. I was patient and did UPS ground and it was <$15. Emailed the tracking number when shipped.

I've done business with them before and they are valid, good, and reputable.

Now just trying to get it programmed.....noob issues

I just ordered a 410 from ambientweather.com for $80 shipped. They didn't send an email to notify me yet

but I've been checking their site a few times a day and just saw that it's back in-stock. I ain't nobody's fool. haha

It's a steal!! Didn't think I'd have a second shot at picking one up so cheap. Now comes the hard part... "oh honey..."
