Default Set Location and Scanlists Recovery

I recently decided that I didn't really need the Set Location set to On, and the result was I "got back" all those scanlists beginning with Scanlist 151 that the EZ Scan software decided it needed. Now, I can use all 200 scanlists and arrange them to my thinking. Besides, the Set Location, while convenient to some, isn't necessary to program the scanner anyway.

What is the intended purpose of Set Location? Currently have it turned on.
