Default PSR-800 with Bluetooth adapter

Is anyone using a specific Bluetooth adapter manufacturer/model with favorable results on the PSR-800 (for Bluetooth earphone listening)? I am trying one that works well on FM but creates some unknown issue on the MARCS 800 band, to the extent that audio is garbled. FYI, it works satisfactorily while using a mobile-mount antenna but not with a 800 Mhz antenna on the radio. Thanks

I have been using bluetooth for about 5 years now first with PSR 500 and now with PSR 800. I use Samsung HM1700 ear piece (from Office Max) and Cardo Beta II as transmitter ( I think no longer available.) I think the system is great for up to 30 feet. There is a problem if your system is not that busy as the units will hibernate after about a minute or two, so you might miss the first part of any message. If you need to purchase a side mounted transmitter there are many available so you might want to Google the items.

You might be receiving interference from the bluetooth transmitter itself, when the radio is too close to you?

If you figure out how to make it work right, it's a cool idea.
