Talking psr 800

I tried this out unchecking it . Theshow vc/cc. It seems to work better with it unchecked. It does work when you see the two different kinds of information but it seems to mess with the transmission.. Also have been experimenting with the m36 stat bits checked and unchecked. Not quite sure what is it is supposed to do. I have all my agc boxes unchecked also works better.I hope this helps.. chuck.. Be Safe..

My problem was that on P25 systems, it would sometimes switch from vc to cc, but kinda alot it only starts switching after the transmission is done. Not really a big problem but I was curious if it was just mine. Here is what status bits are Motorola Type II Smartnet - The RadioReference Wiki LOVE AND BLESSINGS and Thanks for you post

Nope, it's not just you. Mine does it also. I think it has something to do with the way the scanner gets the info from the system. Most of the time it will switch within a second or 2 of getting the signal, but sometimes it waits until the transmission is over or several seconds into the transmission.
So, you are not alone on this one.

Yep - seems to be an issue on (some?) digital systems but not on analog - perhaps only on P25 systems

Default PSR 800 Question

Or more likely, nothing can be done.

Yes I have not seen it do it on, the 3600 control channel, and I dont think it had the problem on EDACS either but I would have to check again.

This is true, they dont pay attention to it because theres nothing they can do about it, but I had that in the Indiana Forum for a few days, and no replies, 150 or so looked at it though, I just wish someone could of been like you guys and said something. It wouldnt of done me any good, but just make me feel better that Im not alone on this Issue

I rarely answer (or respond) to a question/situation that I know nothing about because there are several people on this forum that get "snippy" if your response doesn't help them or seems "unresponsive"

I understand, there's a few here, that can get a little snippy Its all good though, but not something I would do, I Respect Everthing and if Its just to much, and I want to respond UnRespectfully, I will just walkaway. In that case I would more than likely, just PM them, then they dont have that chance to get snippy Thanks for you Thoughts. LOVE AND BLESSINGS Brother
