Default EZ Scan PSR800 Question

In the talkgroup details tab (EZ Scan) I have the option to check a lockout box and a skip box. If I click the lockout box the wildcard talkgroup will pick up and record the locked out talkgroup. I keep a wildcard talkgroup in my list with the record option set so I can capture new talkgroups. I have not tried the skip yet to see what happens.

My list of talkgroups contains several talkgroups that are locked out that I do not want to listen to. All I want to do is capture and record new talkgroups without the wild card picking up locked out talk groups.

I looked through the help but didn't find a discussion covering this.

Thanks.

I don't use lockout - only skip... and if skipped, wildcard does not stop on the skipped talkgroups.

FWIW - my assumption is that SKIP is treated as temporary and can be undone via the radio via the RESTORE SKIPPED menu option while LOCKOUT is a more permanent thing (for use with things like encrypted talkgroups you just don't want to hear - ever).

Having said that, I would expect that they both work the same when it comes to the Wildcard object.... If they don't, it's probably a bug or oversight.
