Smile Please Help !!!!! Gre Psr 800

I was trying to update the GRE 800 and now the screen is stuck with the following on it How do I clear it from the screen I took the batteries out for ten minutes and put them back in and its the same saying

UP Boot Ver F1.0
uP App Ver : None

Does anyone the 800 number for Help as I am going crazy. I have free calling if I can call you please

I've had this happen as well. It's been a while, but what I seem to remember doing was, withe the batteries in and the unit ON pressing the menu key and then the power key and unit turns off. Hope that works, TT.

Smile Fixed it

Thank you both for the suggestions but the screen was stuck / locked up, could not turn on or off the scanner as stuck I took out batteries for two minutes, put them back and same thing . I finally called GRE and the man not only cleared the scanner but e mailed be real easy directions to program the scanner. If anyone wants a copy of the e mail he sent me to program the scanner please send me an e mail and I will foreword it to you . Thanks again and happy scanning

Why don't you tell us what the Tech told you to do to clear the problem so other might use the technique if needed

Yep, this is the same johncoleman who was on these forums a couple of years ago. I recognize the total inability to solve his own problems or find out anything for himself, along with the opening of multiple threads for different stages of the same problem.

The gentleman had me switch the cable to a different port and start over with the up-grade and it worked . He then e mailed me easy instructions on how to program the scanner. I have not done that yet but will send the instructions to anyone who sends me an e mail .
