Default Scanner on the floor

Found my PSR 800 scanner on the floor this morning. Not sure how but it fell from about 3ft. Won't turn on.. nothing.

#1 Did you have the usb plug in?

#2 Take the batterys out and let it set for 5 minutes

#3 Put batteries back in and try again

It wasn't plugged in and thanks for advice with the batteries. Someone mentioned opening and looking but not sure about that.

NOT a good idea unless you are well trained in SMT and electronics at the board level!
Just opening the case improperly can further damage the radio.

Thank you! Removing the batteries did the trick. Wasn't looking forward to sending it for repair.

The batteries don't really fit "tight" and are easily shaken loose.......................yea mine has dropped a couple times

The plug also tends to break off if dropped (also known by experience)......

I always reset the batteries first when the radio messes up...........................99% of the time it works

I've had similar issues. Sometimes it is also useful/necessary to re-seat the MicroSD card.
