PSR-800 Error

so my scanner had been working fine... then all of a sudden to day I get a message...Fatal Error data files not valid...

not sure what this is or what caused it...
any help or suggestions

Depends on exactly what error you are seeing.

Probably an SD card failure or other related issue Try reformatting the SD card and/or trying a different SD card.

Do you get the error when you use your back-up SD card? If so then you may have a problem with the scanner.

it turns on fine...and goes thru a cycle or 3 of scanning then the message fills the screen....fatal error data files not valid

but when I try and use ezscan it isn't connecting to any severs to update...

I read on the Yahoo PSR-800 group that the servers are being transferred from GRE to Whistler and will be down for a few days.
