ws1080 problem

i have whistler ws1080 .yesterday it suddenly started with what sounded like computer data bursts that were twice as loud as normal volume...after shutting the unit off, i reprogrammed all data bases back in, updated everything, but for some reason i cannot recieve one channel...essex ...of the baltimore county system. all skipped channels were readded, etc but just the once channel that was my priority channel before the strange data noise, is not showing up......what is going on? any ideas/ help!.....mike
