Is there no EZScan Library Update for the PSR800 this week?

I know there is one for the WS1080, currently updating it now. I would think the PSR800 could use it also.

I do not have the Whistler WS1080 EZScan software. I would I download it so that I may update my library?

You can download the Whistler software. I tried it with my 800 a few weeks ago. Due to some changes in the Whistler version of the 800, I had some unusable data and went back to the EZScan software.

It is on their website, under Whistler Updates, near the upper part of page.
When I go there, it refers to problems with the SD card but I don't see anything relative to downloading the software. May be having a senior moment here.

Click on the one in that area for the EZ Scan not being installed on computer. It brings up the download of EZ Scan.

Yup - I see the same (both GRE and Whistler at version 389 from 11/15)... may be a computer issue on the Whistler side....

I usually do not check for weekly updates for my 1080, I just happened to see one and just did it, I did not pay attention to the date.

Yep. I tried to update the Library in my GRE-800 both this morning,and a little while ago,and it's not updating it. ?

The updater program (retrieves and converts RRDB data to the scanner's internal format) crashed on Friday. For some reason, the RRDB is now returning Unicode characters (> 255) in some strings. For example, Airports Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference contains character 8211 ("EN DASH") in a subcategory name.

Update: I'm now handling the "bad" characters in the converter app. Any character value greater than 255 will be mapped to the space character.

Downloaded to EZ scan but it still shows 389 after download to scanner.
Not sure if it's my computer
or the update/software, but I get started with the update and it freezes, says "not responding".
Hopefully it's not screwing up my sd card.
