Have trouble with CPU update............

On my Whister 1080. EZ Scan doesn't recognize scanner, can do database updates and even do the DSP update but no CPU firmware update. I can copy the configuration to it no problem. Any suggestions?

My pro668 did that and it was because windows 8 won't install unsigned drivers. That is what you probably need. I changed the settings to allow unsigned drivers and it works like a charm now.

Check this thread ... item number 18. Just be sure to use the driver for YOUR model .. as I am not sure what that is.

On windows 8 restart you computer and while restarting it hold down the shift key until the screen comes back on. A blue screen will appear. Click on troubleshoot. Then click advanced options. Then click startup settings. Hit restart. Then it will prompt you for your recovery key. Enter it then it will take you to the screen where you can disable signed drivers only.
