PSR800 Error Code 04-00

So I got Error Code 04-00 and havent gotten any answer back from Grecom.

Anyone know what the issue is and how to fix it? It occurred while trying to update firmware no the scanner.

Have you tried on another PC? Good luck with GRE getting back to you; I doubt you'll ever hear anything.

That is an "Initialization Error" .. so yes likely an SD Card issue.

GRECOM no longer exists .. so not sure who you contacted. :wink::wink:

Reformat your card and reprogram it .. simple.

I have seen people having issues because they had corrupt programming data .. so be sure that is not an issue.

Just for the record,you could send the Radio shack or GRE 800 to Whistler to fix it,if it did break and was unsolveable,I spoke to a rep there about that,of course it will cost you,as with any out of warranty repair.

You could even send it to Uniden too fix or G & G.
