@Uplink: Thanks for the CAP freq. I had 271.000 in my scanlist but its been totally silent. Heard some brief comm checks on USSS Charlie but everything (at least the repeated stuff) has been encrypted.

@LAflyer: I am using a Airnav RadarBox. AF1 did not have any ADS-B (no map plotting) but showed up under Mode S logs.

I just saw Marine one right after it left Pomona. It was led by two smaller helicopters, don't know what type. They made quite a bit of noise. Looks like they were following the 10 Freeway corridor in a westerly direction probably headed back to LA.

Too bad I didn't have my camera ready otherwise I would have taken a couple of shots.

There are coppers on every overpass along I-5 and park police all over Griffith Park.

The Burbank Police Department on March 19th between approximately 3:00 - 3:30pm and 5:30 - 6:00pm will close the following streets:

Buena Vista Street between Alameda and Riverside
Riverside Drive between Keystone and Niagara
134 Freeway off-ramp on Buena Vista St and Riverside Drive

Burbank law enforcement advises that any vehicles leaving Disney property during the scheduled closures will be permitted to leave but will be restricted to driving eastbound on Riverside and northbound on Buena Vista. Vehicles will not be permitted to enter the closed streets or the Riverside and Buena Vista Gates during the closures.

You won't be able to get close to NBC studios.

I saw "marine one" on the deck through Griffith Park a little after 5pm....my understanding was the motorcade was going to Dodger Stadium to get on the helos..... Burbank PD seemed to be stopping every out of state plate in the city all day, etc.

Well, they're letting the planes go, so I guess he's gone. I didn't hear jack, except I did hear Nighthawk 2 come into Burbank earlier. I don't know if that was a backup 60 or what.

Right through the park there... I didn't even think to listen to CHP. I guess the Nighthawk guys use HF once in a while. That would be cool to catch them there.

I did catch Marine 1 and company on their discrete during the flight to Costa Mesa yesterday. Not too exciting. Mostly just coordinating their approach to the fairgrounds.

That's one of the support copters. They have the gloss paint but all green.
