I think I saw you taking these pictures. I live on the west side of that school on Ivy St. I left my house just as it touched down to head over to Upland. I saw two people on the field taking pictures...Im guessing you were one of them ;-) It seemed liked a lot more dirt kicked up this time than it normally does.

I was sitting down on the grass. i really wanted to walk much closer to the helicopter. i didn't feel that would be right though. first time i have actually gone to the scene of something i heard on my scanner. almost missed it too because i felt i had to take my scanner with me. unplugging, then looking for car power adapter, etc. I don't think i ended up hearing anything else on the way there. anyway, it was exciting to see. on the way back home i was asking myself if i should feel bad or guilty. honestly, i don't think i would want someone taking snapshots if i was getting air lifted. and yeah i got a good amount of dirt and dry leaves in my mouth. was worth it though!
