Confusion on how to program trunking??

I've got a PRO-97, and want to program San Bernardino Co. Sheriff's Dept to it.
I found their frequencies here:
San Bernardino, County of (Public Safety) 01 Trunking System, Victorville, California - Scanner Frequencies

However, I'm very confused on how to program them.
I really only want the Victorville (Victor Valley) frequencies to come up...

I followed some online sites and programed the "system frequencies" into bank 7 of my scanner.
Went in to FUNC + TRUNK, selected "MOT: None", and then entered "304", then hit UP, then "336" and up, and so on and so on.

After doing all that, nothing is coming up.
Where did I screw up?
I'm pretty new to this whole trunking concept.. I've been listening to LASD forever and never had any problems!

I'm not familiar with your model of scanner, but 2 suggestions right off the bat:

Make sure you can hear the control channel (seems obvious, but you never know).:lol:

Also, this system is a splinter system (meaning that the frequencies are not part of the normal 800 bandplan). There might be another setting to make it work with a splinter besides "MOT". Check the manual and see what it says and that might do the trick.

Make sure the bank is set to MOT and then make sure that the channels are set to MOT also.
