There's a lot of new MDT freqs in LA County added for sheriffs, LAPD, LAC fire and even the MTA. If MDT frequencies are unscannable why bother even posting them?

I know there are a lot of agencies that rely heavily on MDT messaging, such as LA County Sheriff's department, but there still is no known way of reading these MDTs.

And out of an odd possibility, If they ARE being posted, then there may be someone out there that is listening in on them.

Posting non-voice data or telemetry information for things like MDTs is within RR guidelines.

While I don't know if anyone has managed to monitor them, at the very least having the information in the db helps confirm usage of licensed frequencies for agencies for anyone trying to tie-up frequencies.

Which is why we're on this site, to confirm the usage of frequencies. At least we know what freqs are for MDT use.
