Default uniden BCD396t Stopped picking up Orange County, CA

I have been using my BCD396t for almost a year now with no problems. I monitor MetroNet and OCFA in Orange County, CA. About a week or so ago in the middle of the day my scanner stopped picking up frequencies. My buddy who has the same one said his did too. He does have a base scanner of the bcd396t which still picks up all the frequencies.

Once and a while Santa Ana fire will come up for a couple of second.

Is anyone else having this problem and does anyone know how to fix it.

Nothing has been changed on the scanner and it is doing it on two of them. Thanks

Kevin

No problems on my end. Make sure you check your control channels how you have them setup in your trunking system setup. Maybe you have only one of the control channels and not the alternate ones entered in too. Sounds kind of strange that its T models that you guys have.

Question two is did you do any firmware updates from Uniden???? Thats the big question.

Sounds like you are missing a control channel to me. I was down there last week and had no problems with any of my Uniden radios in OC.
