Looks like UC Irvine is in the process of rebanding their TRS.

Per FCC filings they have received some new frequency pairs.

WNWX380 & WNWX382
851.4875
851.9875
852.4875
852.9875
853.4875

If anyone down in the OC that can monitor and confirm the switch so that we may update the Db that would great.

So I have confirmed that these changes have been made. I was able to monitor the trunking system tonight and the system is up and running and tracking.

853.4875 is the main control channel

Great thanks.

Can you confirm the Site ID and also the Connect Tone?

Lastly I assume the Talk Groups appear to have remained all the same, similar to what happened at UCLA when the rebanded earlier this summer?

Thank you. Db has been updated.

If anyone notices any additional changes, including usage of the standalone 800Mhz repeaters that UCI have, kindly submit post here and submit to the Db.

I received a note that 861.1125 might be part of the TRS also.

Its license for the campus (WNXG616) albeit licensed as a standalone repeater along with 852.0375
It was reported that person received TG#80 on this frequency which is the campus police TG.

While on the topic, can someone also monitor to see if the other previous standalone repeaters still in use as well?

854.6375 DPL223 UCI Common
855.7375 DPL223 UCI PD - Blue
855.9625 DPL466 UCI PD - Green
857.5875 DPL466 UCI use unknown
858.6125 DPL223 UCI Parking Enforcement
859.5875 DPL223 UCI Common

Thanks for the help

Rebanding of the UCI system was done the first week of August. The 5 UC/statewide 800MHz channels were/will be all rebanded 15MHz down from the originals.

Thanks for the info guys, but I was down in Long Beach for work today and took a little time up in Signal Hill to listen to the system.
Per the control channel, 861.1125 is shown as being part of the TRS and I also definitely heard activity on it.

OK, I'll have to see what I can find out from the radio guy at UCI. I work at one of the other UC campuses and we have all the other campus systems programmed into our radios. I haven't seen anything come across my desk that says they added an additional channel. Doesn't mean I didn't miss it though.

Thank you for any updates.

Now I am curious about status of all the stand-alone repeaters UCI has also. Which ones are being rebanded and their current/future uses as well.

Thanks for the help

I will add these stand alone conventional channels to my BCD536HP and I will hit the (record) button for a few days during the week since this is when those frequencies would be getting some good normal usage.

I am getting hits on this talkgroup this afternoon. I programmed them all in and hit the REC button finally today.

I received a note that a person near the campus over the holiday weekend noted activity on

857.5875 DPL466
858.6125 DPL223

In the note it states that the traffic on both might be related to UCI Medical Center.

Any more confirmations/updates please keep them coming.
