kayi4cle... I use the PSRedit-500 software and when I import from the RR database, there is a checkbox that you can check... its marked ignore encrypted talkgroups, or something like that... if you check that box and complete the import, the encrypted talkgroup does not get imported along with the rest of the importation.
Another way, is to include the encrypted talkgroup along with the rest of the imported talkgroups... then just lock out that one talkgroup that is used for encrypted communications. I imported the MC SWAT TGID, but since its full time encryption, I just lock it out. Most agencies that use encryption on a specific talkgroup ID will use it as "FULL TIME" encryption, therefore, by locking it out, its no longer bothersome... and by keeping it in the scanner, you have knoweledge of what the channel/TGID is as a reference. I keep SWAT locked out, but its a placeholder on my PSRedit-500 list and its in my scanner.
