Question LPE-200 Error 550?
There is a Feature Error 550 message and then the radio goes to a normal screen, what does this mean?

That code means that the radio couldn't read the serial number ROM chip - so the feature data won't work on it.

It might not even HAVE an ESN chip in it. Some radios are floating around that were salvaged from a reject pile and work fine as conventional only radios but are missing the ESN.

I can help to correct that problem. PM me for details.
