Default 7100ip digverr err

I have a VHF 7100IP I picked up on Ebay. The radio looks new and when read
with programmer I am able to go in and setup P25 conventional channels, which I have never been able to do unless the radio had that specific option. When I program the radio, the P25 channel has a "25" displayed in the bottom of the display, when the radio receives an analog transmission on that channel it switches to "A" for analog I guess.
My problem is when I attempt to transmit, the display shows DIGVER ERR.

Here are the DSP/ADI files in the radio:

J2R10A05
F4RO6E05
When I go into the FCC TEST MENU I am able to get the radio to transmit on selected channel in P25 mode, it even transmits my radio ID to my XTS, but it will only do that in test mode. Anyone have any idea if I need a new combination of ADI/DSP files to get the radio running correctly in P25 mode??

Thanks for any help

I thought maybe that was it. I beleive this radio may have been an engineering radio or test radio of some sort . Usually when I've owned radios without the P25 option I am unable to even do anything in programmer in the P25 windows, however on this one I am.
Like I said, in FCC TEST MENU it sends P25 fine and my xts displays the radio's ID.

Not sure if a different ADI/DSP file would help clear up the problem. The radio looks new and still has the plastic on the display. The thing works great in analog, but I'd love to have the P25 to use as well.

Thanks

Well, I've been told I need F8????? radio code for the radio to function P25 unencrypted.
Anyone have a copy of the code?

To operate in P25 CAI (NON-TRUNKING) mode, F4 or F6 class codes will work. (Non-encrypted and DES supporting, respectively)

You'd only need F8 code for P25 trunking, option 39.

ProGrammer will allow you to create data for a P25 conventional system even if your radio doesn't have the feature. Load up the file to the radio and you'll just get errors.

ProGrammer doesn't know or care what features are in your specific radio. It does make some adjustments based on what type of radio you select in ProGrammer, but within a given radio type,
it allows programming of any type of data that doesn't require specific authorization like ESK data.

The radio is where the "Yes you can use this feature, no you can't use that one" logic resides, based
on the features that are enabled.

I once had a radio with no features. I was still able to add one TG to an EDACS system and use it, even though i was not featured to be EDACS. maybe this falls into that category?
