I just found what I want for Christmas... This radio looks like it does it all. It suits all of my needs for work and beyond. Anyone have any experience with this radio? Thoughts?

No P25 trunking for a while...

APX7000, available now, WITH P25 trunking. Now available in the B version, which does include UHF along with VHF and 700/800.

Cost...up to 10 grand if you want it all.


You don't think you'll get those other bands FREE, do you?

Too expensive and the B version only dose low band UHF not T band!

The Harris Unity XG-100P-004
dose the following:
• Analog FM
• P25 Conventional
• GPS
• Bluetooth
• AES/DES Encryption
• P25 OTAR
• P25 Trunking

The price I was given was $6500 including radio, extra battery, charger, speaker mike, programing cable and software.
If anyone on this group already has this radio I would like to hear from you on your evaluation of the radio. I am also interested in how many alpha numeric characters you can program for a channel tag and a zone tag.
