Default P7100 late programmer version issue

hello everybody,

i am new in this forum yet i have my 4 years experience in Ma/Com MRK and GE MPA.
P7100 is new in my workshop so i encounter a problem.

when i try to read a personality of the P7100 radio. the message telling that the "radio was program on a later version."
on my experience its not a big deal especially on MRK because we can just re-flash the radio then give all the necessary codes including the .bin dsp .trk ..enc and then the personality.

but on the P7100. with the same steps after the program was successful. the LCD of the radio is not displaying anything. no any message and no any err codes displaying.

can anybody help me about this problem?

thanks a lot in advance.

elbert

Was this a late-flashed p7100 with RPM-only code? If so did you downgrade it properly? If not there is a possibility it is corrupted and will need to be completely reflashed. I sure hope you saved the FEC and tracking info.
