Talking Ericsson Orion Question

I acquired a couple Ericsson Orion Model D2AHG3 I found this listed as 29-42 Mhz & again as 28-49 Mhz
does anyone know for sure what the correct freq range is? Also they have a label that says Modified Per
AN21055 I assume this is a factory mod but can't find any info on it, anyone know what it is? I was hopeing to use these radios on 45.60 Mhz will they work there or not? Appreciate any info from you Ericsson/GE/Macom guru's.....thanks....Fred

Thumbs up

Its listed as:
Rear Mount Scan, 29- 42MHz, 110W, D2AHG3 , Conventional
I know the Orions can be tuned "outside" of their range but I'm not sure how far.

These have to be the loudest radios I have ever used.

I might be interest in one if have a good working one. Our public safety is still using that band split on 33. Are those the radios with the remote mount and the controls are all through the mic head? Anybody know where you go to get them programmed?
