Default System Models vs Scan Models

Looking at the spec sheets (XG-75), I see mention and pictures of these differences (system model vs scan model), but the spec sheets are vague.

It it as simple as System models have a full keypad & Scan models have a limited button keypad, therefore more user enable "features" for the system model?

Thanks

They have the same capabilities as far as features (if 'features' means things like P25 trunking, encryption, etc.) but the limited keypad is just that - and won't be able to do certain things that require a full keypad, such as placing individual calls outside of a pre-programmed list.
