Default Remote head flashes on/off

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uyG4knl77rY

The above video is all I can get out of this remote Orion that I just picked up. It was unrecognizable in R18 as well. Does this issue look familiar to anyone?

Did you check to see if the IGN sense is active? Apply +12 vdc to the loose yellow wire on the cable comming out of the head. If your radio came from the source I think it came from, all of those had the IGN SW active.

I tried it with and without 12v to the yellow...no difference.

This is all I can get out of it...holding scan and emergency at powering up.

It will stay at that screen indefinitely or until I shut it off.

Ok...I don't know what the HELL...but today I figured I'd try turning it on one more time while it was all wired up still. I didn't do anything different, I haven't even reseated the cables since yesterday.
Any ideas, I suppose it could be an intermittent problem. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1350430762.677902.jpg
