MRK batteries

Does anyone have a good source for batteries that actually work for these radios. We are using batteries from three different vendors, and they all die after just a few months of use. We are returning about 10 at a time. The PD and EMS people are getting very frustrated.
We have tried NiMh and NiCd, and have not had any luck. Any help is appreciated.

That's rather strange. When I get home I'll look at the manufacture of battery I have for my MRK. Might wanna try ebay I had a friend that bought two of the hi capacity ni cd's and they have been holding up. It's hard to find good OEM batteries for these radios being that these radios have been out of production for some years now. Such a bummer the MRK's are great radios.
