Default Scancat lite plus program and EDACS- Problem

Hello. I cannot figure out how to input talkgroups into the Scancat lite program for an EDACS trunk system. Specifically, RadioReference lists talkgroups into columns titled "DEC", "AFS", "Mode", "Zone" and "Description." Thus, a typical RR column looks like: (Dec column) 1009 (AFS column) 07-141 (Mode column) A (Zone column) 911 (Description column) Emergency. Scancat lite doesn't use the same nomenclature. Scancat lite columns are headed "Scan list", "Group Id's", "Group description" and "ID bank tag." I can't figure out what numbers to input where. This is confusing to me. Does anyone out there know what to do? Please help. Thanks!

Uniden and RS use the AFS column as the "talkgroup" and then the description for the "talkgroup name"
Remember that with Uniden you can enter just the first part of the AFS (07- ) and you will get all the talkgroups for the ) 07 group and then give it a general description (police) - see manual under Edacs - talkgroup shortcut.

Here is what you do:

Take the AFS (Agency Fleet Subfleet) format, or the DEC (Decimal) format as your Talkgroup ID, since EDACS uses one or the other for its TG ID's.
AFS- 12-010
DEC- 561
The MODE refers to is it A (Analog), D (Digital), or E (Encrypted)
Never mind the Zone, its just what the typical Alpha Tag display on a scanner would be.
911 (911 Dispatch Center)
The Description is just telling you what the TG is used for. (Like an enhanced alpha tag )
