Honolulu FD switches to EDACS

On 1 June 2005 Honolulu Fire Department joined HPD, OTS, Ocean Safety and OCDA using the city and county's EDACS system. Dispatches are on analog TG's but tac TG's are Provoice digital(initially all HFD coms were to be in analog). The HFD uses the new P7100 scan radios. It is unknown what all of the TG's are. The switch is not 100% as some VHF patches are in use on dispatch(backup?).
