After watching the special the other night, I have to agree with tbharper.

Sure, it's a great thing that the scumbag rapist is off the streets, however 'Dog' and Co. should have looked into the Mexican laws prior to embarking on their little journey. Even here in the states, ignorance is no excuse for breaking the law. Once caught and released on bail they then knowingly and willingly fled the country thinking that the statute of limitations would expire after 3 years and they would never face extradition. Guess they were wrong.

I loved the irony of listening to the three bail enforcement officers admit to skipping bail.

I was however surprised that they never received the reward money for the apprehension of the rapist.

As usual you missed the point of this whole thing David. Why don't you do us a favor and not vote anymore as you obviously are clueless. While your at it come down here to Arizona and see what the Mexican government has done to your home country by conspiring to allow illegals to cross the border. Screw Mexico, we should treat them like Cuba and not allow US citizens to travel to their wonderful resorts. I bet after there is no more vacationing americans visiting and spending dollars they will change their tune. You see David it is folks like you with a narrow mindset that will doom us all.

The point is simply this. Mexico has a policy of not assisting in the arrests of known cop killers and violent offenders to be known to occupy their country. Then to make matters worse they detain AMERICAN citizens who are there to bring back a wanted sexual offender fugitive. This would have been an excellent time for Mexico to set an example to the other hundreds maybe thousands of AMERICAN criminals hiding in Mexico that you are not welcome here. Yes the Chapmans broke a law in Mexico, however to simply say "you broke the law now go to jail" is ludacris. Then to send the US Marshalls office to roust the Chapmans from bed and arrest them "because Mexico wants them" is really not quite fair is it. See my friend this is a classic example of the US buckling in and bending over to Mexico, just like we do day in and day out by allowing thousands to cross the border with out consiquences. Yes you may say that these are two different issues, but to me and many other patriots they all run together.

If you are around them by chance, try those. They are all limited to 2 watts, no repeater, and no license required.
