Veeeery interesting! In the summer of 1999 I was at the transmitter site removing the old Collins 20V-2 transmitter now retuned for 160M and in operation at K2PG West Creek NJ. They have a nice digital solid state unit now into a 1/4 wave tower 1KW daytime (250W nighttime I think) operation. Too bad my memory isn't what it should be, I had a nice chat with the CE but don't remember his name. I had a bit of fun chasing my friend's son around with a snake I found in the transmitter shack though.

Good luck if you can hear the test, there's an awful lot of QRM from the 250W nighttime stations on that most crowded part of the band.
