I dont know if anyone here is interested or if its possible to markup google earth with all the shortwave broadcasts that you come across and just update it as we find new stuff.

Been kinda of busy lately, I believe there is one already out there. I will look on mine when I get home. I have not used Google Earth in awhile, but I remember having a file loaded that shows all the locations of the broadcast stations.

What im trying to do is use google earth as a mini visual database for all the shortwave antennas/transmitters so we can all get a better idea of the distance of the signal and kinda like the old days of a map and thumbtack of stations picked up.

Default kind of

In a similar manner, I've used GE to mark site locations of systems that I monitor.

I will mark them using the coordinates from the FCC database and include the bearing for pointing my yagi. Example: Harrah's Casino 130.
