They are great radios but be prepared to part with a bunch of money by the time you get the extras (like a cabinet) and spend about month reading the manual to understand how the whole thing works.

For $8999.95 that thing better cook my toast and make my bed in addition to receiving HF freqs
All joking aside I'm sure its a fine radio. I've heard good things about JRC
