Angry Need Help With Programming my ICOM F11!

I have had ICOM radios for years and have been personally programming them for years. Recently i got a new computer. It has Vista. I loaded all of the software onto the computer and all drivers needed for it to run. When I plug the cable into the USB port it says that it is trying to install drivers for the cable. It then says that the cable driver failed to start. Please HELP ME!!

Moved. Please don't post ICOM transceiver threads in the ICOM Receivers forum. Thanks.

If it's 64 bit Vista then you don't have a driver that will work. I emailed ICOM USA about it but they said they had no requests for a 64 bit driver and none were in the works.
Of course I'd bet Japan is working on it.

My IC-92AD works perfectly with the RS-92 software and serial cable connected to a serial/usb comverter under Vista 64bit.

My IC-F60 doesn't work with it's USB cable (OPC-966U) plugged into the Vista 64bit laptop no matter what you do. Someone said to disable driver signing, but that didn't help either! And I found no 3rd party aftermarket drivers that would work either.
I wonder if the serial cable would work?

I have VMWare virtual workstation on my laptop and with it loaded with XP Professional the F-60 programming works perfectly.

I know for a fact now that it is the whole Vista thing!
