Radio Suggestions?
So my truck was broken into Tuesday, and they of course took my most expensive radio. It was a kenwood public service radio. My buddy told me to look into Icoms. What i need is a public service/ham radio VHF. I use it for my fire fighter duties (talking with dispatch/traffic control with officers/and other interops). Its a mobile for my truck. Also would like it to be able to use for ham vhf. Other options i would like is p25 as another county we asist is fully digital, and interop with them via my truck would make life easier for us en route to scene. Any suggestions? Also dont want to pay full list so any depots or places that sell used radios? If this post has confused anyone i apologize, just trying to explain what i need and what i want.
