Question Paging question about the ICOM F21

I recently purchased an F21. I want to set it up so I can have 4 different tones in it. I am just wanting to set it up so it will just set off a tone for that tone. I dont want to page out or tone out. All iwant to do is receive the tones like a pager. Please help me!

That model only allows three tone sequences. You won't get the fourth.

Also, you would only be able to be on stand by with one tone at a time. Each tone set would have to be on a different channel.

The newer radio, the F14, can decode up to 10 different sets on one channel.

Also, the radio would have to sit on that channel, you cant have a scanner and a pager at the same time, one or the other.
