Default Need help from F-5061 owner

Hi,

I'm looking to buy a F-5061 and have a Jotto Desk console in my truck, but Jotto doesn't list a faceplate for the radio. If I can't either buy one or have someone make one, I'll have to pick another radio, so...

Would anyone out there with a F-5061 be so kind as to measure the size of opening that would be needed to mount it in a panel/faceplate, and perhaps the depth of the radio if it's panel mounted?

Thanks a million,
Jason

This is from Icoms website

160×45×150 mm Dimensions (W×H×D)

I have email the console companies about this and they have told me several times they do have a face plate that will work.

Thanks. So it looks like (as you actually have one) a 160x45mm hole is right for this radio? It looks like Jotto Desk makes some faceplates that appear to fit.

Thanks!

I put one in a Jotto in a Crown Vic for a local PD. Used the same plate as an F121. Worked fine.
