Default F121 power on tone

I'm not sure if I am missing this in the software somewhere or not, but is there a way to disable to power-on tone on the Icom F121? I see where the beep can be turned on or off for the buttons but I cannot seem to find anything that controls the power-up tone.

Thanks .... Mike

Did you program a text opening on the display, like a callsign when it powers up? I left that blank. I know on my other icoms, it will do the tone when powering up if you enter in a text greeting.

I did add a text greeting - I'll bet that is it. Thanks for the tip.

I know on the ICOM F-1020 you could turn that beep off, but you had to be in dealer mode.
