Default Antenna Repair?

Hi all,

I have an IC-F40GT with the standard issue UHF antenna. The plastic piece on the top has come off and won't stay on. Would I do any damage to the antenna by just Gorilla Glue-ing it? Or is there a better way?

Thanks!
bzk

The rubber cap on the top of the antenna is just a cap to terminate the end of the antenna itself. Any non-conductive glue should work.
