Default ic-F43gt Continous tone question

Hello to all,

I got a IC-F43GT I am wondering how the continous tone works. I see RX and TX and I put user and program a pro key for C Tone CH Ent. I was wondering how that works. I thought the radio had a built in ctcss/dpl Thanks

Default hey man

hey,

I guess you didn't get my aim message

Set it up, with the tones you want for the 9 pairs, ex

Tone 1 88.5 88.5
Tone 2 103.5 103.5
Tone 3 146.2 103.5

Dump the user setting, it reflects the next screen under it where the default is 88.5

For DPL/DCS just enter the 3-digit code followed by N for "Normal" or I for "Inverted". Most tones are going to be normal but occasionally the code gets inverted by repeater hardware or intentionally by the administrator. Example, DPL 074 would be 074N for normal polarity.

Default We

We were wondering at first if they could be user adjustable, in a way they are. But, not like the FPP concept.
