On what radio? Where is the sticker at? Is this a new radio? Off the top of my head, I would say that it means that the radio was updated to only do narrow band frequency, which means for the most part, it will not work within the ham bands very well as they are wide band.

Yes, you can use a narrow band radio on wide band frequency's but their will be some degrade in audio.

5061 mobile. The sticker is half on the control head and half on the radio. Sorta like one of those "warranty void if seal is broken" stickers.
The radio accepts wide or narrow frequencies.

Not only does the radio let you do wide or narrow but it also lets you choose whether it should force it.

Not sure what the sticker means, but I use several 5061/6061's, and they do just fine on wideband ham and narrowband commercial.

Default Could be...

F5061's are narrowband compliant by programming; there is no modification necessary other than changing the programming to make sure all of the "W's" have been changed to "N's", changed CTCSS/DCS tones are in place, and checking that the radio is aligned.

In the past year I have been "in" so many radios I can't remember which is which. I started putting a sticker on the ones that have been reprogrammed to help sort them out.

My guess is that it's a "happy sticker" from the shop. If in doubt call them.

That sounds like the most plausible explanation, jeatock.
