These are older radios, I owned an F2020 UHF back in 1999 or so, used it on 70cm, GMRS and for work stuff.
At the time, they were good radios for the price. They'll do remote head configuration, if you can find the remote head kits, there was also an 160 channel upgrade chip for them.
I don't recall the exact model number for the programming cable, but it's unlikely you can find them new direct from Icom anymore. You'd probably have better luck searching E-Bay. It's the same cable that programs the Icom F-420, F-320 radios (I was running those too).
Programming software is probably out there floating around in the ether if you did a google search. Somewhere I've probably got the old 3.5" floppy disk for it.
The programming software runs under DOS. I never had an issue running in a DOS window on a Windows 95 laptop.
Programming software is pretty straightforward and easy to use.
