Default Icom PCR 1500 advise

I just got a PCR 1500 and can not figure out how to make CVS files that I can import intoo the PCR 1500 folder. I have frequency lists, but can not put them into the radio software memory file data base. Can anyone direct me into finding out how to do this? thanks alot,,John K3JK

I believe you are talking about CSV vs CVS.

CSV = Comma Separated Values

Edit your frequency list so that the values on each line has a comma between the values.
Save the file as a simple text file to eliminate document formating that is hidden from view, but stored in the document.

If the file is saved as XXXX.txt then rename to XXXX.csv.

It should now import. I have been very brief, but maybe it is enough to get you started.

Default Additional info PCR-1500

hi everyone, thanks for the reply I got for adding files to the PCR-1500. I still can not get it. I just got Microsoft Excel and save the CSV file into the folder of the 1500. When I try to import it into the screen, it clicks but no information comes up. And when i try to x out of it, it asks me if I want to save changes. So it wants to open the excel file and maybe opens it, but no info on the screen. Can someone respond with any suggestions? thanks in advance, John K3JK

Try opening file rather than import in the memory channel editor window, that worked for me.
