new icom r-1500 questions

ok weird this is, i can get trunkpcr to use the scanner but not icoms software ie wont find the com port on vista so cant load the new firmware weird how the pcr works and not icoms software (and its the updated software) any ideas???

i got it after hours of fidiling around with the usb driver ( after you install the drivers from the disk for the usb go to your devices and then hit update driver in there on the usb driver and it will work)
