Default Separate Streams from PCR-2500?

Hi,

Has anyone been able to listen to two different streams coming from the PCR-2500 at the same time?

Primarily so I can stream two different audio feeds to two different applications.

The thing is, it only looks like you can use it to monitor two different frequencies, not simultaneously listen to them as two unique feeds.

thanks!

I'm still a bit of a newb with the radio but can you use mute in the Audio properties to make the audio for one receiver go out the external speaker and the other come from the USB Audio?

I have the ICOM PCR-2500.
You can have one radio on one freq and the other on another (allowing for sub-bands).
One freq audio will come out as stereo-RIGHT and the other as stereo-LEFT.
You can hear BOTH if there is traffic on both at the same time.
You have TWO RADIOS in that box!
Just get your head around that. I had to try it to beleive it myself..
And BTW, if you record you get that STEREO RIGHT/LEFT audio.
Hope I answered your question.

I am not ignoring you Wayne, but I just don't follow your question.
What do you mean by "and the other come from the USB Audio?"

Excuse me if I am a little dense here...

Set one receiver's audio to come out of the External Speaker port on the unit; route that to the computer soundcard input. Take the audio from the second receiver via the USB audio. Use mute selectively so both receivers come out the appropriate places (and don't mix).

This depends on how well your computer (or software) is setup to handle audio inputs.
