Default New- Question about an ic-r20 I have

I got a brand new Icom ic-r20, I keep seeing this looked and un-locked, How will I know that mine is or isnt?

On your box there will be a sticker with the model and a 2 digit number. There will also be a country code somewhere near that. That will tell you what model you have.

I dont have the box anymore, is there a number on the back of the radio or a setting that would tell me?
