Icom Receivers Question

Do any of the receivers have the capability of receiving D-Star yet? I would think that since D-Star is an Icom product, they would incorporate it into one of their receivers as well.

The only icom receivers that offer an additional board to monitor Dstar are the PCR2500 and the R2500. They can only listen to Dstar with an additional board.


Also dstar isn't really just an Icom mode. Icom is the only manufacturer who has taken hold with Dstar and produced equipment to work with the system. Icom has added alot to the Dstar network but Dstar is by no means an Icom product. They just produce Dstar equipment.
